The folks at accommodation search engine Nestpick recently pulled together the first semester living costs for 80 cities around the world that are popular destinations for international students.
The costs were calculated as follows:
- the average living costs for six months in each city – plus
- the tuition fee for one semester at a leading university in the city – plus
- the applicable visa fees.
All of the figures have been converted to US dollars.
